From the perspective of you contacting me, I'm always open.  You can email me at uss@ponypicker.com at any time… even when I’m on vacation.

From the perspective of me returning contact, it's not instantaneous.  My priorities have changed in retirement (from my “day job”), so I might not be sitting in front of a computer when I’m on vacation… other than that, I reply fairly quickly. Since I spend more time on research and development than I used to, I always have time to return phone messages and emails.  Note that all times below are in Pacific time.

Email: My main method of communication, where I typically reply from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Phone: Only used if I can’t explain things by email AND we agree on a time for me to call you back from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
